Health & veterinary care
Your new puppy will have been dewormed at 3,5 & 7 weeks of age & had his/her first puppy shot by the time they have reached 8 weeks of age. Once you receive your new puppy, you will have 72 hours to have a physical examination done on your puppy by your licensed veterinarian, just to be sure your new puppy was in perfect health when you received him/her as stated in our contract . During your first vet visit, set up a deworming & immunization schedule for your new puppy with your licensed veterinarian.

Feeding your new puppy
We feed our puppies Diamond Naturals puppy brand dog food, it is highly rated on dogfoodadvisor.com
If you are looking for a more Natural & holistic based pet food, I recommend pawTree! Check out their dog food! My friend Regina Aldrich is a petPro at pawTree & she will set you up with the best food for your new puppy (I am not affiliated or make any money with any dog food brands)
Training resources
I strongly recommend positive reinforcement based training methods, these dogs are very smart & can be very sensitive to punishment. Clicker training is an amazing way to train any animal, it’s easy for the animal to understand & I use it to train both my dogs & horses. Please be sure to socialize your puppy by going to classes or taking them out in public often. Aussies tend to be very one person/family orientated & do not care for strangers. If you socialize your puppy early, you will have a more well rounded & accepting adult dog.
